TD has shut down her blog!

Seems that texasdarlin has shut sown her blog! FINALLY!
http://texasdarlin.wordpress.com/

Hopefully she will take time to breathe, contemplate and then.... either sit back and do nothing or come out and help support the Democratic ticket!

It would do all of us and this country a lot of good, if former puma's could come out and support the Obama/Biden ticket.

I look forward to TexasDarlin and the others... hopefully... putting down their negative Obama keyboard and firing up their anti mccain keyboards!

I do not expect her or the others to "embrace" Obama, but I am hopeful that they will at least stop attacking Obama and start hitting at mccain!

Now... alegre? hm...
http://alegrescorner.soapblox.net/

I noticed on her site, that they are renaming puma. They are calling it "people united means action".

I like this MUCH better! Hopefully she and the others mean it. Not united against Obama but united for the Democratic ticket, united to stop this fascist train, united to stop mcbush!

They chose "People United Means Action" in a close election over the alternative "Ponying Up Mediocre Amounts".

Sorry, BUT (2.00 / 1)

Have you gone to that site? I'm all for winning people over but Alegre and her cult are simply not people you will convince.  They are liars who are working to win McCain the presidency and are worthy of contempt.

But (2.00 / 2)

her commitment is way off base, is chock full of holes, lies and half truths.

This is what the righties do, NOT Democrats and progressives!

Jealous of Alegre, catfish?  Exactly what would I be jealous of?  You are not even making sense anymore.

Re: Please (2.00 / 2)

don't worry, we don't listen to hate speech.  Al's corner will live on, there are other issues and they grow in importance.  Really, what some of you have been saying about us has nothing to do with what we're working for, and last time I looked, there was still free speech.  So, they can hate away, nobody's filled with hate isn't an issue, they'll be safe from scary us.

anna shane is one of those internet chameleons who takes on a different personae on different blogs. At Alegre's site she's toxic; here she pretends to not be.

Re: Barky, eh? (2.00 / 1)

he said he was on the banking committee and it was a gaff so I joked that he was actually on the barking committee and just got mixed up. someone said he's be a joke president and I said, he wouldn't be the first one.  I was defending him, in that he's no worse than a lot of other fat head men who've run for president and have even won. I guess I could have said he's above reproach and there is nothing funny about him, but.. wouldn't have been credible?  I say he's no worse than most of our presidents and better than some.  He's way way better than McCain, which isn't exactly what you want to run on, and there are ten more weeks for him to improve. I'm hardly the only one who wants him to improve, his stats are tanking even faster than Johns, although they're both tanking.  It would be nice, for a change, to have a winner?

Oh, well, just doing my part.

you're celebrating someone's grief? again? what did she ever do to you personally to elicit that kind of pure hatred from you? how are you different from O'Liely shouting "Shut-up, just shut-up"? i really am curious...

Huh? (2.00 / 1)

Is this to me?

Did you really read what I wrote?

How am I celebrating someone's grief? Hillary Clinton has not been running for President since she conceded. If TD is grieving over not getting her way... well... it has happened to us all during elections. This is the first time I have ever seen it happen for a distant VP chance.

I was and still am a Clinton supporter, but this nonsense with the puma crowd has got to stop. The puma crowd and their faux news rightie friends are the reason there is even a chance for mccain.

I would love to see Hillary Clinton in the cabinet. The continuation of the puma/pissy people shit will ruin those chances also!

puma's are acting like poison. Face it, it is true. Grow up... please.

By the way (2.00 / 1)

Biden was not my first choice, but I am OK with this ticket. I think it will be strong! Biden has a good sense of humor, a pretty good resume (credit cards and bankruptcy... eh... not so much) and he is an attack dog!

We need some fire!

I just checked (none / 0)

"pumapac" website.

Still sounds like a bunch of bitter people.

I understand and believe in part of their goals, but the underlying bitterness needs to go away.

It still seems like a veiled attempt to bash Obama.

I guess... we will see.

The pumapac group is having "events" in Denver. Maybe their should be some netroots "media" at these events? Some netroots activist... not just the "choir.

her blog is still roasting over Obama's birth certificate!

People will latch on to anything these days.

But... (none / 0)

she has shut it down early. Hopefully this is a good sign.

Most likely it just means, she is moving over to the puma pac site.

I can only hope that she starts hitting mccain, even if she still can not fully support Barack Obama

No, that's the thing, she is not just that, nor are most of that contingent.  Before the loss she had some good things to say, to contribute.  I hope these good people/deeply upset Hillary supporters, find a way back to at least working for Democrats down-ticket, maybe even voting Dem for President.

Not even a ripple in cyber space.... (2.00 / 2)

Texas Darlin' went SOOOOO nutziod over the Birth Certifcate thing, maybe she needs to sit down and contemplate about obsession and conspiracy theories.......

Alegre, I think, was so used to the spotlight here, when it was clear she was not going to be the star of the Rec list, she split.

Personally, I think they are self made celebrities, I don't understand wny anyone thought their voices were so important....

No big loss, either way.

On Nov 4th, Barack Obama officially ends the Southern Strategy....

as it were, from MyDD.  The former Queen of the rec list, now in severely straightened circumstances, as Dickens would say.
