I took some flak from some for suggesting that on this day we have to remember not just troops in Iraq and Afghanistan but for all those who sacrificed for the wars that came before.
The so called higher intellect here reprimanded me stating that it does not have to do w/ troops rather it has to do with a declaration.
To those I simply and humbly say again "for there is no independence without good men sacrificing to ensure it."
but... this day is not about other wars or other sacrifices.
This day is about what happened in 1776 with the signing of the Declaration Of Independence and the Revolutionary War.
